Field Trip Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Can I get directions and do you have dedicated bus parking? A: Yes! Click here for directions.     

Q: Are reservations required? A: Yes. In order to get the discounted group rate, reservations are required at least 3 business days in advance. Call (239) 262-5409 X 158 to make your reservation today.   

 Q: How many chaperones do I need? A: One adult chaperone for every 10 students is required and is FREE. Adult chaperones must be a minimum of 18 years of age. Additional adults pay $10.95 per person.   

Q: What shows and activities will we experience? A:  Your group can enjoy all the activities offered during the hours of your visit. This may include the feature show in Safari Canyon, Alligator Bay Feeding, Meet the Keeper Series, Snakes Alive, and Primate Expedition Cruise. For an additional fee, groups can participate in giraffe feeding and camel rides (click here for activity schedules).     

Q: What is the minimum group size for Field Trip rates? A: 15 paying participants. If your group has less than 15 paying children, standard admission rates apply. Additionally, children age 3 and under or zoo members do not apply toward total in group as they enter the zoo at no charge. Group rates only apply when a single payment is made for entire group.     

Q: What if parents come along but are not included in the group payment? A: Additional adults paying on their own will receive a discounted rate of $10.95 by indicating they are with the group.   

Q: I have children who are zoo members. What about them? A: Children with zoo memberships are always free when the group leader includes the number of members coming when booking the field trip and presents photocopies of each member's card upon entry. Members do not count toward the total of people in the group for discounted rates. Discounts apply based on the number of paying participants.           

Q: What about adults with zoo memberships? A: If adult chaperones have a membership, they are also free when the group leader includes member counts when booking the tour and presents photocopies of each member's card and a copy of the corresponding photo ID for adult members upon entry.   

Q: Can we purchase lunch? A: Yes, your group can purchase food at the Wynn’s at the Zoo store or snack stands, or you can pre-order a discounted boxed lunches for your group. Your Naples Zoo representative will provide you with an order form when you book your visit or you can click here.   

Q: Can we bring our own food? A: Yes, of course! You're welcome to bring in your own food. Coolers are always allowed. Please remember, for the safety of the animals, straws, plastic lids, and balloons are not allowed in the zoo.   

Q: How and when do I pay? A: Naples Zoo staff will conduct a final headcount upon your arrival to Naples Zoo and payment will be processed at that time. You can pay by check, cash, MasterCard, Visa, Discover or American Express.
